Welcome Phoebe

Phoebe just arrived from Alabama and we have found that she is a young (about 6 months), small (about 6 pounds and about 8 inches to the shoulder), sweet and happy girl.  My family is going to be taking care of her for a week until my mom can begin fostering her next week.  That is, if she isn't adopted by someone before then.

She has only been here a few hours but I can tell you that she is doing well with all three of my dogs (both female and male ranging from 40-22 pounds).  She loves my 10 year old daughter and was happy to be held by her today.  She did well on the car ride from WI back down to Northern IL and rode quietly in the crate the whole time.  Again, she's only been here a few hours but she's been doing all her potties outside so far (good girl).

She sniffed around the house a bit when we first got home.  She went outside and did her potties and has been hanging out with my daughter on the sofa.  She has also posed for some pictures and video (see below).  From the few hours I've seen her I would say that she's a happy and bouncy little girl.  She doesn't seem to have over the top energy but rather just happy go-lucky puppy enthusiasm.  She doesn't seem to know any commands from what I can tell.

She is a little thin and probably still growing a little so will likely put on a bit more weight.

We will add more info as we get to know this adorable and sweet little girl more.
