Alley housebroken, Phoebe progressing very well

I don't have time to type a lot right now but wanted to add that Alley has been doing 100% of her business outside for more than a week now.  She's good about rushing outside, getting it done and coming back in.  I leave her out of the crate when I run the girls to school and she is good..no problems.  Yesterday we went to dinner and were gone for a few hours and I decided to leave her out of the crate.  She did great.  No problems.

I've finally heard her bark a few times.  She's been with us about three weeks now and it took that long before I heard it.  When I took Miles and Missy for a walk I heard her bark at the window a few times (maybe she was saying...hey, what about me? ).  Yesterday she joined Missy in barking at some squirrels running along the phone lines behind our house.

I went to check on Phoebe yesterday and she is also doing really well.  She's several months younger than Alley.  Her housebreaking is still in process but she's doing really well according to my mom. They crate Phoebe when they leave or when they can't keep an eye on her.   If you click below you'll see that Bob taught Phoebe how to sit.  Yesterday I got to see her "down."  She's a smart, happy and loving girl!  I will add a video of her "down" when I find a few minutes.

In the mean time, here's a picture of my boy Miles at our agility trial the other weekend.  We didn't do that well but we had fun!  (If you look closely his tongue is out...so funny)

Oh, I almost forgot.  If Alley and Phoebe don't have applications in process before then they will both be at a meet and greet event at Bentley's Corner Barkery on Golf Rd in Schaumburg, IL from approximately 12-2 on Saturday March 21st.  Joy, Patience and Baklava will also be there.  Check their pages on Petfinder for more information.  This is an opportunity to meet the dogs.  The on-line application process would still be applicable.
