Phoebe continues to do really well in her foster home. She has learned "sit" and "down" in the few weeks she's been there. She's proven herself to be a fast learner. She is young and playful but not over the top with energy. She can focus and learn new things pretty quickly.
Phoebe enjoys playing with her foster brothers Mickey (shih-tzu mix) and Max (beagle). She really likes to play with her tennis balls (they are miniature balls that are 'Phoebe sized' although regular ones work just as well). She will roll it on the ground and then run and get it and roll it again, etc, etc. She is good with the cats in her foster home.
Phoebe is still young and did not know to do her business outside when she first came to her foster home. In the last few weeks she has learned to ring the bell hanging on the back door to let someone know that she needs to go out. She doesn't always NEED to go out when she ring the bell but rather WANTS to go out to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine but that's okay. In the early stages of her learning to use the bell it's important to let her out each time she rings it. She's had a few #2 accidents in the house but learning to use the bell is a big step in the right direction. (You might be wondering what the bell is...you can find them at pet stores and on-line. Go to Amazon.com and search Poochie Bells and you will find an example)
