Eat Snow? Not us!

It's been about 24 hours now and little miss Christie continues to do great.  She's done all her business outside since she arrived and I don't even need to remind her.  She goes out, sniffs around a little, does her business and she's back inside.  I want to give her a few more days before I declare that she's housebroken but things certainly look good in that department.

She curled up next to me last night as I was watching some TV in bed and she was just so darn comfortable (me too) that I didn't have the heart to move her into the crate.  She slept with my husband and me all night.  She curled up between us at head level and didn't utter a peep or become restless.

She slept next to my desk during the day while I was working, occasionally getting a bone to chew on.
I took her and Miles on a short walk and she did really well on the leash.  She barked a little when some bigger dogs passed by.  I think she was just a little frightened.  My guess is that the more exposure she gets...the less she'll be frightened.

I think Miles has been showing her how to eat snow...the white stuff of course.  The two of them came inside today with muzzles coated in snow.  Hard to see on Christie...but obvious on Miles.
Eat snow??  Not us.  Never!  What would make you think that?
