Just a quick note to say she's doing very well in the house and no accidents since last week. I'd like to give her until the end of this week though and then I think I can confidently say she's housebroken. She was so close when she came and just needed a schedule and some encouragement. We've been doing daily walks and she is still so very good on the leash. She stays by my side with an occasional wandering of a few feet for a smell but then always comes back and checks in with me. We've not found her to be chewer. She's left everything alone. I did hear a little "whoooopf" yesterday when we had all the windows open and we could hear some men talking and loud trucks. Maybe construction or garbage trucks..I'm not sure. That was the first we'd heard her make any kind of bark. Her hair is wirey and the front of her has some "fluff" to it. She's mixed with something fluffy. Her ears are as soft as can be. Like most dogs, she does shed. I think she's putting on some weight. Her appetite is very healthy and she's becoming more and more eager to get her treats. I'll probably weigh her again this weekend. Maybe she's gained half a pound or so.
Thanks for reading a thanks for thinking rescue
