Just a little more about Ryley this morning.  She slept in the crate quietly all night.  Did not make a sound.  We got up and she went outside and did her business with the others.  I think stairs are new for her.  She can get up them alright but is not quite sure about the getting down part.  She can do the three stairs the back yard just fine but she's still trying to figure out the full set of stairs coming from the second floor.

I trimmed up her face a little bit this morning and tried to trim out some of the mats on her back end.  She may have lived outside because she was pretty dirty and matted when she came.  We've treated her for fleas and she's flea free now but it seems like she had them in the past (so many of them from the warm AL climate do).  All that itching and scratching caused the mats to be worse than normal.  So, she's going to have a choppy looking hair cut for awhile but this gem will polish up nicely.
