She met my three dogs (Sheltie mix, mini poodle mix and standard poodle) just fine and they are all doing well together. She met the neighbors also and greeted them happily. She took treats nicely and waited her turn.
She has been doing all her potties outside so far. We had to run some errands today so I put her in the crate and she went in easily with a treat and did not fuss.
She is affectionate and seems to love being loved on. She curled up in my nap this evening for a nap outside on the patio. While we were out there someone down the street was setting off some fireworks. My poodles ran inside for cover but Ryley stayed outside with me. They didn't seem to worry her at all like they did the others.
Ryley was left in a "drop box" at a shelter in Alabama. Drop boxes are crates outside the shelter where someone can leave a pet with no questions asked. We don't know if someone owned her and changed their mind or if someone found her as a stray and decided to drop her at the shelter. We do know that she is a sweet, loving and easy going girl.
She is definitely schnauzer but looks to have a little something else mixed in. You can see some light brown hair on the crown of her head and down her back. To me she seems like she might shed a little. Hard for me to tell because I have two of my own that are light shedders also.
I will add more info as we get to know her even better
