One week with Audrey

Miss Audrey has been here one week.  She's done all her potties outside and I would say that she's housebroken.  I work from home and she gets outside several times a day but she's been good about waiting until she's outside to do her thing.  Good girl.

She is starting to blossom and becoming more and more comfortable in our home.  She's a happy girl who can be a little shy at first.  Her shyness has really melted away though and that happiness is shining through at this point.  I'd say she's doing fantastic!

See the video below of Audrey and my daughter.  Look at Audrey's tail!  I'd say she's a very happy girl.  Also note that when my daughter stops petting Audrey she politely "paws" her to say "keep going please."  So cute. (I am in the process of trying to edit out the background noise in this video. It's taking awhile am I'm not sure it will ever finish so please ignore the TV and ignore my Holly barking.  Also ignore my daughter's outfit...she's 11 and dresses herself.  I take no credit for that ensemble..nor would I want to).

Thanks for watching and thanks for thinking rescue.  By adopting a dog from Fluffy Dog Rescue you make room for another to be rescued and to have a chance at life.

Audrey has discovered the comfort of a dog bed.  (I keep dog beds and blankets all around for my crew)

There's a little smile!  She usually looks sad in pictures but really she's a happy girl.  I managed to get a little smile here.

Finding the sunny spot amongst all the blankets and dog beds

Ah the joys of a good back scratch.  She plays with her bone by rolling around with it

So fun!
