These girls have been here just a few hours but I can already tell you they are outgoing, happy and that they love people. They both happily greeted my daughter (13) and had a great time exploring our the back yard. As soon as my daughter would sit down on the ground though they both ran up to her wanting to snuggle in her lap. Same thing when we went into the house. They had a fun time sniffing around but then joined my daughter on the sofa for a snuggle. They were both snuggled up next to her.
A friend and her daughter dropped my daughter home after some afternoon swimming and came inside to meet Trina and Tallie. My friends loved the dogs and the dogs loved them. They are both outgoing and happy to meet new people. My friends were amazed at how cute they were and that they were fully grown. Both kinda look like they could be puppies. Trina especially is a tiny little girl.
They both rode nicely on the trip from AL to IL (we are in Northern Illinois). And were happy and perky after the 12 hour journey. I always tend to think that dogs who can make that journey, with about 35 other dogs in the van, and can still be wagging their tails after it all of it are pretty special dogs. Trina and Tallie are examples of two dogs who made that journey without a fuss.
I will be adding more pictures and videos soon. In the mean time...here are a few from today.
Thanks for thinking rescue!
