Praline has settled in so nicely. She is a great girl. She plays nicely with Winnie. She shares the toys without a problem. She sleeps quietly all night on the floor of my daughter’s room. She walks nicely on a leash and doesn’t bark at all the suburban activity we see. She rides nicely in the car. She goes in the crate with a “go kennel” command. She’s good in the house and hasn’t gotten into any mischief. She’s been good about doing her potties outside. In the two months she’s been with us she had a couple accidents, both in the basement. There’s no door to the outside so I don’t think she knew what to do. She hasn’t had any other accidents and sleeps all night without having to go so I consider her housebroken.
I took Praline to the pet store the other day and she had several admirers wanting to say hello. Praline was a little shy and wouldn’t take any treats but was fine with some pets. She took
The treats from me but not from the stranger. That’s okay, mom always said don’t take candy from a stranger. She will warm up but needs more than a few minutes.
So Fluffy Dog Rescue has another dog in need of heartworm treatment. So since Woody will be moving in we need to find Praline a new foster home or better yet a forever home. I took Praline to the doggy day care yesterday and she did well. She was calm in her crate and found a friend in the first 30 mins. That made me feel good. Praline is a beautiful girl just waiting for her home to find her. Might it be you?
