Noelle Update

It's been a few weeks since I've posted about Noelle so wanted to share the latest.  She finished obedience and did really well.  She is a smart girl.

She's been doing well on housebreaking.  She had a couple of accidents this week but in both instances she was ringing the bell (loudly) but since she had just been outside I did not think she needed to go again.  I was wrong.  :-).

She's gone on a few adventures so that she could experience new people and places.  She went to the pet store and to the local coffee shop.  She did well both times.  She really likes people and is all tail wags when they approach.  When she sees other dogs she will pull and whine to meet them.  Some were okay with that and some were not and passed us by without saying hello.  She did get car sick on one of our trips.   I've found that when she's in the crate she doesn't get sick (maybe because she's not looking at things outside the window).

She has been doing long walks with us (~2.5 miles) on the weekends.

She is still very much a puppy and will play, play, play with Winnie.  She likes to pull at Winnie's legs and get her to begin wrestling.  She is an active girl and with her smarts she'll need lots of exercise and mental challenges to keep from being mischievous.  Just because she's completed obedience with me doesn't mean she's done.  She'll need more positive reinforcement.  She'd be great at a class like nosework.  She's a food motivated fast learner.

She loves to chew and has been very good about mostly sticking to the chew toys in the house.  She will pick up the occasional stick in the backyard and if our teenagers leave socks or shoes out she will find those but doesn't seem to chew them...just bring them to us.

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
