Monday

Hello!  This page gives me more opportunity to share information about "J" with you.  She is a gem.  We just adore her!  Is she older?  Yes, but on the bright side she's past the puppy stage!    Did she come to the rescue with some health challenges?  Yes, but many do because they are often strays.  Is she a grateful loving girl?  Yes!  Does she still have some spunk?  Yes!

The video link below shows an example of how she plays.  All of my dogs are smaller and they're all a little intimidated by her size so J plays by herself.  She's tried to engage the others in play but they aren't interested.  She will toss toys up in the air for herself and she loves to play with the ball.  She would love someone or another canine friend to play with her.

We were out of town this weekend and my dog sitter stayed with J and the others.  When we got home last night J was so excited.  She jumped up, like she was trying to give me a hug, and took a few victory laps around the back yard.  It was so fun to watch her being so happy.

When you meet J she might be very mellow and kind of underwhelming.  Believe me though this girl is a lover.  She will be eternally grateful for a warm bed, a few toys and a regular meal.  She is mellow the majority of the time but has a playful side that you'll see every day.

We so enjoy having her with us.

J had heartworm treatment in August, had some lumps removed from her legs and mammary glands.  She also had 4 teeth removed. She's now done with her makeover and ready for her big reveal and a family of her own!

(BTW- Holly and her pups, the family in my last blog post, were all adopted and are living their best lives in WI and IL)
