Bath and a bone

Snyder got a bath today.  I thought he could use a bath so I enlisted the help of my girls and we loaded him in the tub and scrubbed him up.  He was good.  He wasn't wild about it but didn't protest and tolerated it.  If you've had a dog before you know that after they get bathed they like to run around and try to dry off.  Snyder was no exception.  We towel dried him some and then let him out of the bathroom to do the rest.  He did some laps around the house.  He hops when he runs and he kind of grunts and gives grrrr's.  It sounds odd but those are his happy noises.  He is a happy guy who can have bursts of energy but he settles down nicely.

After he dried off I gave him a rawhide.  I found out last week that he likes them.  BUT...he doesn't finish them all at once and likes to save them for later.  I found one buried under the blankets in his crate last week.  So cute.  Anyway, today he took his bone outside and surveyed the yard for a bit and then found a spot underneath one of the bushes.  He tucked it safely under the branches and then came back inside.  He went back outside a few more times to check on it.  Shhh...don't tell him I know where it is.

Can you see it?  Look closely.  See the rawhide colored stick peeking out from under the bush?

Hah...satisfied with himself.

Checking on it a little later
