Angel has very fine and silky hair on her head and body. It's a whitish, blondish color. Her tail though is a bit different and is a little more corse and has a few black strands here and there. No matter though, she's an absolutely gorgeous girl. Her eyes are round, dark and expressive.
Angel and Keeva had a great time playing chase and wrestle yesterday and today. Keeva went back to my mom's tonight and Angel is now sleeping next to me on the recliner as I write this.
I gave her a bath today and she did well. She wasn't wild about it but didn't fuss and let me get her cleaned up.
She is a bit shy at first and was cautious meeting Mom today. It will take her time to warm up to new people. She's curious and wants to be around people and will approach once she's worked up a little bravery.
She's been eating and sleeping well in the 24 hours or so that she's been here. She slept in the crate at night without a peep. She's been sharing the toys with the other dogs. No problems.
She had an accident yesterday which is not surprising. Most new fosters do have some accidents the first few days. She's been doing her potties outside so seems to know that's the right place to go. As she gets used to our schedule we may see the accidents disappear.
